ナードナッツ (Hard Nuts) Review

Hard Nut (2013)

Recently, I've been hooked with this Japanese Drama...
And I finally finished watching it ~

As usual, i stumbled upon this show through the help of my fan instincts (i'm an animal)!
I got the chance to enjoy an unusual Ai Hashimoto character. Surprisingly, her role in this
drama is not gloomy or plotting to kill someone lol Basically, the complete opposite of her
notable roles! I'm so grateful to the casting director for picking Ai to play Nanba Kurumi's
character, I've been wanting tsee her in a different light in her acting career. I'm also
grateful for the given opportunity to watch the sexy Kengo Kora in suits!! >__<

Even though it was only 8 episodes and there's a pile of things left hanging and I still have so
many questions left unanswered, I super enjoyed watching this funny keiji drama throughout!
they should make a second season of this ~

On a side note, I don't want Kurumi and Tomoda's relationship to become more than that or
in short to be romantic... But I wish (if there would be a second season) for their interactions
to be given more importance. They look so adorable together <3

My Summer Anime Favorite | Top 10

Not just one but 16 anime shows of the Summer season I am currently watching.
It was truly enjoyable and full of bliss to follow different variety of series, and also
very tiring for a reason that is really obvious. Anyways, without further ado. This
is My top 10 Summer 2014 Anime list of favorites (so far)!

Let the negative comments begin!

10. Ao Haru Ride
- Impression -

I've noticed, Sakisaka Io-sensei's works takes a lot of crazy paths
and time for the story to build and finally enter the romance department.
But slowly and surely, we're all getting into the most awaited greatest reward,
the heart of the story aka the good cheesy part! In shoujo stories, you have to
engage yourself with it until the atmosphere slowly melt your heart and fills
your stomach with butterflies because for the love of God, your otp is having
a sweet moment again. It takes a lot of heart to love a shoujo but this is just
like the same thing they are doing in the story, slowly but surely you will
learn to love the naive heroine.

09. Re:Hamatora
- Impression -

tbh i hate Hamatora's first season with passion (i'm going to skip
the reasons because there's a lot of them), but even though i hate it
i'm so glad i kept watching until the end (tnx to Nice' seiyuu, Ohsaka
Ryouta.. well yeah, i'm a fan!). Because i'm lovin` this season more
than the first which i never really love to begin with, Hahahah ; P I love
everything about the new Hamatora, Animation style, Music, the cast,
and the awesome characters!

I miss them so much, especially Nice and Birthday, my baes!!
I'm so happy ; D they are all back with a much better Re:Hamatora!

08. Zankyou no Terror
- Impression -

Let's all fucking admit it! We're all watching this anime not just because it looks

promising but because Shinichirou Watanabe is the man behind this freaking show.
And for that reason, every (or maybe not really) Shinichirou Watanabe fan (I'm one
of them) is having a biased opinion, because all his works are so awesome you will
watch it with the soul of your grandparents so many times because of perfection, but lol
that attitude doesn't apply on this show (well, at least for me.. i dunno `bout the others
tho) because.. those works are different and this work is also different, so i will serve
my final judgement when it's finished.. so far it's getting interesting little by little and
I'm always looking forward to Sphinx' cool riddles (I'd be really happy if i got the correct
answer)!! Anyways, tbh i got interested with this anime because of the songs (I happen
to be a fan of Galileo Galilei (OP Singer), but damn that was the ugliest GG song I've
ever heard from them, seriously, very not like them) first before knowing the director
was Shinichirou Watanabe.

07. SPACE☆DANDY 2
- Impression -

We all know that Space Dandy is such a fun series!

It's a fantastic alien hunting show who sounds good in both dub or sub.
Space Dandy is a series i'd love to watch when all else fails. It's the only
series who made me feel as if it has never been away, amazing throughout!
I demand 200 episodes for this season of Space Dandy, baby!

06. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun
- Impression -

I love this show, fucking best! All i need (aside from my number 1) to keep

my week going. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun ftw!! Sakura, Nozaki, and Mikorin~
my fave trio of this season... And my favorite RabuCome series after so long!!
The characters are so perfect in this anime, no one's too annoying and no awkward
guys, i love it! I'm so happy for this series ; D
Long Live Gekkan Shoujo` //Bansai!!!!!!!

05. LOVE STAGE!!
- Impression -

The picture above- That's the storyI have encountered this manga before-
around 2012, it was really funny but the the update took long and i'm preoccupied
with my other reads.. so basically i stopped reading around chapters 12-13? But eI,
who cares about that.. I finally caught up with the manga ; D Arrrggh, this is the
problem when i love almost everything about the anime, i can't find the right words
to explain it!! Anyways, you guys understand my situation and my reason why i did
put this series in my fifth spot, right? *grins*

[SPOILER ALERT] Ch. 24 - Izumi looks so seductive, ugyaaaa!!! (of course..
you know what i mean) ƪ(`▿▿▿▿´ƪ)

04. Nobunaga Concerto
- Impression -

I'm not a fan of Oda Nobunaga ( i don't even quite fully know his history),
i'm completely not interested to any anime shows with his name. The fact that
there is a time traveling concern in this anime is what really caught my interest.
As a matter of fact, what i really want to watch is the live action drama, but
watching the first episode didn't seem to be a bad idea. In my surprise, it was
a humble but very enjoyable start! I'd love to keep expecting for more
episodes until it rips my heart open and cut to tiny pieces. o.O

03. Tokyo Ghoul
- Impression -

Oh hey, this show! I'm not reading the manga yet but i might consider
reading it when i have more time. Well, when i first watched Tokyo Ghoul
i didn't really know what exactly to expect since i'm not quite a fan of gore,
but surprisingly- It's very unique for a normal viewer's opinion for sure, this
is from one of the most anticipated anime shows after all. In fact i didn't
really think it would rank higher than Zankyou no Terror on my list. Well, i
really like how it started and even though there's a lot of negative reactions
here and there, i'm still enjoying the flow of story and i think that's the most
important. Btw, I will wait patiently for your appearance, white haired pretty
anime boy(kaneki)!!! XD

02. Free! -Eternal Summer-
- Impression -

Well, i have loved this series ever since from the very start, when i said from
the very start what i mean is from here!! Yeah, i'm one of those girls who first
called it "Swimming Anime" and you know what?! I'm very proud of it lol ; D
tbh I don't really care about this season if it's not for Free!Love Stage!!and
DMMD anime, it just so happen that there's three shows i'm watching in this
season so i just have to feel interested all in all *pout* (lol tsundere mode ;P )
But honestly.. I'm still in awe because the Free! fandom really did it, they have
succeeded on this goddamn season 2 request.., It's clearly amazing because
this anime is from KyoAni and we all know a movie + OVA is never enough!!!
The fact that Free! is served in our table is something to be really grateful x))
I'm obviously not exaggerating, okay!!? I'm just super happy to see the ; D
swimming dorks, samezuka bros (again XD) and the new bishies, that's all!

01. Barakamon
- Impression -

All i could say is.., this and will definitely be my favorite series throughout this
season, without a doubt. I don't think other series from this season will have a
chance to get the number one spot of Barakamon from my heart. ; P

No matter how many action-packed anime series I've watched, the most lighthearted
one will always win a place in my kokoro. For me, the most laid back shows serves as
saving grace from being mixed up from all the extravagant animation series and personal
noisy life, it makes me feel so chill in the most effortless way. Although it's a little bit early
for this i'll give my 'so far' rating, and that would be 8.5/10!!! Yay, i hope this show will
keep us smiling until the end..

Also, i love how they accurately deliberate a child's attitude in this anime,
also Ono-D (Handa Seishuu aka Sensei) did a very amazing natural voice for
his character (he sounds so fantastic.. it's like i'm hearing a different and
improved Ono-D today) so are the other seiyuus who is speaking a very thick
Goto dialect. XD Amazing staff and cast, amazing animesomething to cherish
this Summer season! : )

Reminder:
Personally, I think the Summer season is doing great, but that's
just my opinion. This is just a collection of thoughts I've gathered
throughout the first half of these ongoing series.
Everything still depends on the viewers taste.

Now It's your turn to make your own list.
What's your Summer Anime favorite?
